Last Logbook Entry  é for previous day            

1/8:  We keep hoping against hope that the annual January "thaw" will hit sometime soon, but this year it appears to be out of the question.  Way too much snow and bitter temperatures all month have virtually eliminated any possibility of fishing.  Obviously the good news is that the nasty winter will mean plenty of water for our streams this summer.  It's not a bad trade off.
